We went to Zion National Park which is one of the five Utah parks and it was a lot of fun.
At Zion there is a shuttle bus system that takes you to different stops around the park.
We did lots of fun hikes here, there were also so many cool rocks and the Zion canyon was so cool. One of the hikes we did was the Emerald Pools, on that trail you can hike to three different pools, the lower pool, the middle pool, and the upper pool.
This is the lower pool.
I didn’t get a picture of the middle pool but this is the upper pool.
Another picture of the upper pool. Right across the street from the Emerald Pools was the Zion Lodge, we stayed in the Zion Lodge for a night. While we were staying at Zion Lodge we went into the town right outside of Zion which is called Springdale and we had dinner there. In the morning we did some more hikes, the first one we did was called Riverside Walk.
This is the river we walked along it’s called the Virgin River.
Thankfully, Jesse was still alive to hike that day. And he went fast enough to be in the front. The next hike we did was Weeping Rock.
There are tears rolling down the rock into a little stream. Next we went on my favorite hike at Zion, and it’s called Hidden Canyon. On that hike you went right onto the edge of the cliff and held onto chains so that you wouldn’t fall off the cliff.
Me and Mom liked it and want to do Angels Landing when we come back to Zion.
Dad and Jesse didn’t like this hike, they didn’t like how far down the drop was. That was all the hikes we did but here are some more pictures of things I saw at Zion.
This is a good view of the canyon.
It looks like water is falling on me.
Those were some pictures of cool rocks in the park.
Jesse likes to crawl under rocks.
This is another picture of rocks. And that is the end of our time at Zion, and after going to all five Utah National Parks I don’t even have a favorite. I liked all five parks the same amount so they’re all my favorite.
